well. they did it again. we woke up to clusters of leprechaun dust all over the house. everywhere they stopped they left a mess. the girls ran all around checking to see all the places the little buggers had been.
then these were discovered. i guess they broke into the m & m factory.
then the pancake batter turned green. in case you are wondering, the clumps are banana. the kids gobbled them up but wondered why the juice wasn't green too. last year they left green splashes on the toilets. messy messy!!!
it's hard to see the clovers on this dishcloth in this photo but this is one of the best dishcloths i've knit. not necessarily because of the clover pattern or the color. the reason i like it so much is that i used a much smaller needle. most patterns call for #7 needles. i use #6's because i am happier with the end product. this pattern called for #5s. it's a very tight knit. this actually feels a bit like a woven fabric because it's so tight. i got the pattern for this clots from kris knits blog. she's an amazing woman that has wonderful knit patterns. some are free. some are for sale. when i was getting the link i saw that she has some more things on there that i've got to check out. one of them was a cute bib. and since i'm making a whole set of bibs for a friend's shower at the end of the month i might just have to make one of hers.
